We kindly inform you that the IUVSTA-Elsevier Student Award announced on the website of the ICTF-JVC2020 (https://www.ictf-jvc.com) conference:

The purpose of the award is to give partial financial support to postgraduate research students, to help them to attend conference at which they have accepted contribution. The Award, supplemented by support from the organizers, covers the registration fee (350 EUR) for 6 students.
Submission deadline is *February 15, 2020*. Application must be sent to the Chair of the conference by e-mail (ictf-jvc AT akcongress.com).
Please forward this information to your students who might be interested in this award.
*Important note*
We would like to draw your attention to that due to the European Football Championship 2020 the tourism traffic in Budapest will increase during the conference and it will be harder to find suitable accommodation. If you are interested in conference we recommend you to arrange your accommodation as soon as possible!

Dear Colleague,
It is our pleasure to welcome you to join the 18th International Conference on Thin Films (ICTF) which will be organized jointly with 18th Joint Vacuum Conference (JVC) in Budapest, Hungary. The conference will be held from 14th to 18th June 2020 at the ELTE University Congress Center, which is located in the fast growing and modern South-Buda side of Budapest.
The ICTF is one of the tri-annual conference series endorsed and co-organized by the Thin Film Division of the International Union for Vacuum Science, Technique and Applications (IUVSTA). JVC is the meeting of the established series of Joint Vacuum Conferences, which are organized at two-year periods by the Austrian, Croatian, Czech, Hungarian, Slovak and Slovenian national vacuum societies.
The registration and abstract submission are open now. For more details regarding the conference, please visit conference website, which is continuously updated with new information.
