Hello All,

The Britannica International School (, a
private secondary school in Budapest following the Cambridge International
Examinations system is looking for an English-speaking qualified teacher to
teach "Computer Science". The exact meaning of "Computer Science" is not
quite clear in secondary schools at them moment (it may mean anything from
what is indeed understood as Theoretical Computer Science (on a simple level)
in universities or it might mean teaching the kids how to use a word
processor - this lattter is not the case here), so here is a link to the
(detailed) syllabus of what needs to be taught:

You need to download the "2015 Syllabus". This is a long document but the
syllabus itself is on the first few pages.

This part-time job involves 6 contact hours in the first year (2013-2014) and
12 contact hours
in the following year (2014-15) with associated administration, so it is a
noticable load.
Needles to say, you need to speak excellent English as a start.

For those working at the Wigner Institute, the school is conveniently located
along the route of bus #21, a 5-minute walk from one of the stops. See their
address on website referenced above.

Those interested and qualified should contact the following person directly
(and not me):

Ms. Zsofia Alibaux-Jakab
Deputy Headteacher Secondary
