and its Applications in Quantum Mechanics

Abstract:
The asymptotic iteration method is introduced and its applications to some
analytically exactly solvable, quasi-exactly solvable and non solvable
quantum mechanical potentials are given. Energy eigenvalues and
eigenfunctions are obtained. The method works not only for Hermitian
Hamiltonians but also does for non Hermitian ones. The results are
compared with previous studies. The spectra, in all cases, are found to be
in excellent agreement with exact (numerical) results.
