Dear Colleagues,

as you surely know, a new 4th-generation synchrotron is being built close 
to Novosibirsk, Russia. The storage ring is expected to be ready for 
commissioning by the end of 2023. SKIF will finally host 30 beamlines; 
among others the Microfocus beamline with a nuclear resonance station.

An on-line questionnaire (in Russian) on user needs and expectations has 
recently been launched by Dr. Sergey Rashchenko (rashchenko AT igm.nsc.ru) 
and announced by Dr. Kilill Frolov (ms2 AT crys.ras.ru) at:

Everyone interested in the development of the nuclear resonance technique 
for SKIF has been invited to fill in and submit the questionnaire in the 
near future. The organizers consider very important to plan further steps 
of interaction between users and those specialists who will convert the 
users' wishes first into a project, and then into real devices and 
installations.

For non-Russian speaking colleagues: The questionnaire can easily be 
translated electronically to English, and the last open-text field (Здесь 
можно оставить комментарии и пожелания) can certainly be filled in in 
English, as well.
