"N=2 orbifolds and their marginal deformations”

címmel tartandó szemináriumára.

Kivonat:

I will revisit type IIB string theory on AdS_5 x S^5/Z_k orbifold spaces which are dual to N=2 "necklace" quiver gauge theories with equal gauge coupling constants. Since these models are integrable, we can compute the entire spectrum of these theories at any value of the universal coupling constant. A recent modification of the hexagon formalism also allows for the determination of three-point functions and a comparison with localisation results. From the perspective of gauge theory it is natural to allow also for unequal couplings which introduces (k-1) marginal deformation parameters. In the bulk theory, these deformations are more mysterious and break the integrable structure of the orbifold theory. I will comment on our current understanding and open puzzles in the analysis of these models.
