Dear Colleagues,

As the spring seminar semester draws to a close we are once again reaching out to you to solicit speakers and topic for the autumn 
semester, which commences on September 11 and ends on December 11.

We have been promised some money to fly in some prominent speakers from within Europe in the autumn. If you know of anyone who is an 
excellent speaker who can engage a broad audience and who is doing interesting work, please get in touch.

We hereby also reach out to our young scientists to volunteer for a slot to share your latest and greatest with us, with the aim that 
our feedback will help advance your career and public speaking skills.

We are thinking of using a few (1-3) seminar slots/weeks to host an open forum discussion session open to all institute members about 
topics of pertinence. We are very interested in ideas from all of you about topics that you feel would be good to discuss.

Last, we have decided to use a few seminar slots for some information and training purposes, such as having successful grant applicants 
share their experience and provide us with tips once grant proposal season rolls around next winter. If you have a topic and a speaker 
in mind who can share knowledge or skills that are of benefit to many of our colleagues, please get in touch!
