The registration for the Intensive School "Laser, Plasma & Fusion" Rethymno, Greece 2-5 Sept. 2024 is open.
The Intensive School is co-organized by the Institute of Plasma Physics and Laser in Rethymno and the COST ACTION PROBONO - CA21128. It aims to offer exceptional scientific training to young emerging researchers interested in pursuing a career in the field of high power lasers plasmas and particularly focusing on laser fusion. It will feature plenary lectures and specialized talks presented by renowned scientists in the field and will include workshop sessions with seminars, case studies, simulations and lab experiences.

The School is open to BSc graduates, MSc students, PhD candidates or early PostDocs in Physics and related disciplines. There is no registration fee to attend the School, while a significant number of students will have the opportunity to receive financial support by the COST Action PROBONO (

Invited lecturers are: Dimitri Batani, Jose Manuel Perlado, Matteo Passoni, Michael Tatarakis, Daniele Margarone, Vasilis Dimitriou, Alessio Morace, Nektarios Papadogiannis, John Pasley, Luca Volpe, Manolis Benis.
