Dear Colleagues,

The next Budapest-Debrecen-CERN meeting of the HEP 
Department of Wigner RCP and the Hungarian CMS group will be 
devoted to accelerator development at CERN on Monday, 21 
October at 11:00 in the media room (KFKI, Building 2, 1st 
floor) of the Wigner RCP and also via videoconferencing. It 
will be convened by Daniel Barna (Wigner RCP). There will be 
two 30-min talks:

"Improving the efficiency of the slow-extraction of the SPS 
using active and passive diffusers"

by Veres, Dóra Erzsébet (Oxford U.) and

"Quench protection of canted cosine theta superconducting 
magnets"

by Szakály, Marcell (Oxford U.).

As usual, the meeting will be posted at the Indico category 
of our meetings [https://indico.cern.ch/category/8677/] and 
broadcasted via Vidyo in the virtual videoconferencing room 
"Budapest-Debrecen_meetings" (ext. 10593817), directly 
available from the Indico page without any registration. 
Everybody is welcome to join. Usually there are live H.323 
connections among the videoconferencing rooms of the 
Institute of Nuclear Research (Atomki) in Debrecen, of the 
Department of Atomic Physics of ELTE and of Wigner RCP, 
Budapest (KFKI, Building 2).

If nobody needs English for the presentation the talks may 
be given in Hungarian on the basis of English slides, 
available from the Indico page.
