2017. október 17., kedd, 8:30-kor ELTE, Pázmány Péter sétány 1/A alatti épületében, 4.52 (Sas Elemér) teremben Evgeniya Kabliman (Light Metals Technologies Ranshofen, Center for Low- Emission Transport, Austrian Institute of Technology, Ausztria) Modeling of microstructure evolution in aluminum alloys during thermomechanical processing Abstract: The final properties of materials are strongly influenced by evolution of their microstructure. During the production of aluminum semi-products the material passes through several processing steps (casting, rolling, annealing), each of them seriously affects the microstructure due to phase transformations, plastic deformation and restoration processes such as recovery, recrystallization and grain growth. In order to predict the final properties of materials one has to understand and describe the underlying mechanisms of the microstructure evolution such as dislocation and grain boundary motion. For this purpose we develop a model which is based on evolution of mean dislocation density and includes the interaction with microchemistry through the modeling of precipitation kinetics. This model is than integrated into a finite-element code for simulation of deformation processes for real size objects. In present lecture I will talk about modeling of aluminum alloys at different length scales, linking of models and validation through various experimental techniques.
