Dear Colleagues,

Please find below the flyer announcing the joint ILL ESRF workshop on

CHEMICAL ENGINEERING AND MECHANICS IN WOOD: X-RAY AND NEUTRON
SCATTERING, MICROSCOPY AND MODELING

 which will be held at the Institut Laue-Langevin, Grenoble, France, on
March 23rd-24th 2017

This joint ILL and ESRF workshop will present experimental possibilities
to follow adsorption of water, salts or reactives in wood and
cellulose-based materials (techniques, sample-environments: humidity,
temperature, pressure, mechanical stress) in link with open questions
from theory (success and failure of predictive models) to current
applications (process, properties enhancement, preservation).

The abstract submission for poster and talks is opened until February,
15th 2017; registration deadline is 20th March 2017.
