megjelent a hamburgi European XFEL keményröntgen-szabadelektronlézer első 
mérési pályázati felhívása. Magyarország a European XFEL teljes jogú 
tagja, ezért magyarországi kutatóhelyek munkatársai jó eséllyel 
pályázhatnak nyalábidőre.

Early User Experiments at the European XFEL

Serial Femtosecond Crystallography (SPB/SFX) Instruments

DEADLINE: Monday, 20 March 2017 inclusive (UTC+01:00)

Dear Colleagues,

The European XFEL (http://www.xfel.eu) encourages the scientific community
worldwide to propose experiments for Early User Experiments on the two
scientific instruments scheduled to start their early user programme in
the second half of 2017, the Femtosecond X-ray Experiments (FXE) and the
Single Particles, Clusters and Biomolecules and Serial Femtosecond
Crystallography (SPB/SFX) instruments.

The planned first allocation period includes about 800 hour beamtime in
total (about 400 hours per Instrument) between September and November
2017, precise dates to be confirmed depending on the commissioning
progress currently under way. The allocated beamtime will be measured in
12-hour shifts.

All proposals submitted in this first call will be reviewed for their
scientific quality by a panel of international experts and, in addition,
checked about safety and feasibility conditions. Proposals shall consider
the specific conditions for Early User Experiments expected for this
allocation period.
