This is to inform you that the call for Outline Proposals for collaborative 
research projects to be executed under the EUROCORES programme in 
Fundamentals of NanoElectronics (FoNE) has just been published (see below). 
We should be grateful if you would disseminate this information as widely as 
possible.

 As a novelty in the EUROCORES submission technical procedures, an on-line 
application system has been put in place for FoNE for the first time.

 You will find further information on the programme and on the new submission

Research funding opportunities in the field of FoNE

Following agreement with funding bodies from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, 
Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, 
Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland and United Kingdom, the European Science 
Foundation is launching a first Call for Outline Proposals for collaborative 
research projects (CRPs) to be undertaken within the EUROCORES programme 
FoNE. The programme will run for up to five years and includes national 
research funding and a European networking component. The deadline for 
submission of Outline Proposals is May 15, 2005.
