"Renormalization Group for the fast
ab initio computation of small gap systems"
Abstract: In a first time, I will present linear scaling
algorithms for ab initio calculations in the framework of Density
Functionnal Theory (Kohn-Sham scheme), and the problems which are
arising for small gap system (metals). In a second time, I'll
present how to develop near-linear scaling algorithm for small gap
systems with an improvement of the Energy Renormalization Group
which is called Bloch-Feshbach projection method.
