Lagrangian Model of the Stratosphere (CLaMS)" 

Kivonatos ismertetes:

The Chemical Lagrangian Model of the Stratosphere (CLaMS) is a chemical 
transport model employing a full set of heterogeneous and gas-phase reactions 
of relevance to the stratosphere. Moreover it contains a novel transport 
algorithm where advection is described by a Lagrangian (trajectory) method 
and 
mixing is driven by the deformation of the flow. The model is using a 
irregular 
adaptive grid. In the talk, the model concept will be introduced and a 
variety 
of applications on stratospheric problems will be presented. Applications 
range 
from pure chemistry to pure transport studies.
