Hello everyone,

I have written to some of you earlier regarding the 2nd Fully
Residential Schools International Symposium, 2012. I am writing again
as I would appreciate it if you could confirm your participation in
the symposium as we plan to extend our invitation to one school from
each country. The details are as follows;

Theme : 'Cultural Understanding, Generates Global Unity'
Date     : 27 - 31 March 2012
Place   : Puteri Resort, Melaka

Participants from each school : 1 teacher, 4 students
Registration Fee for each school : USD 100.00
Food and Accommodation during the symposium will be provided.

A little about the symposium;
FRS International Symposium or Fully Residential Schools International
Symposium is a program organized by the Ministry of Education
Malaysia. This program is in line with the vision of the Fully
Residential Schools (FRS) of Malaysia in producing World Class
Leaders. All in all, this symposium is all about creating awareness
towards the inter cultural similarities and differences between
different cultures leading to a better understanding and appreciation
for their own culture and nation. It is hoped that by providing a
platform for the youth to communicate with individuals from different
cultures and background, it will equip them with communicative
competence for their personal development, knowledge acquisition as
well as shaping their young mind and expanding their perspective as
what one learns during youth will influence them for the years to
come.
