Dear Colleagues,

as you are aware of, MIX is a mailing list recognised by IBAME, the
international Board on the Applications of the Mössbauer Effect established
for immediate communication between IBAME and the international Mössbauer
community. It is a free and voluntary service hosted by the HUN-REN Wigner
Research Centre for Physics, Budapest, Hungary. IBAME encourages members of
the international Mössbauer community to subscribe to MIX.

MIX is open to all bona fide individuals actively using or interested in
Mössbauer spectroscopy and its applications including relevant
instrumentation. In case of doubt true interest should be evidenced. MIX
Editors reserve the right to refuse ineligible applications.

Even though the usage of MIX is pure and simple (for posting just an ordinary
mail with appropriate subject should be sent to mix AT lists.kfki.hu), the user
may easily go wrong.

The most important advice is: please use for posting, as much as possible, an
address of your organisation (university, research centre, etc.). Refrain from
sending your posts from an address, which is considered to be part of a
spammer domain. For a list of actual spammer domains please visit
https://www.spamhaus.org/blocklists/domain-blocklist/.

Please encourage your colleagues (in the first place the younger ones) to
subscribe to MIX, should they not have done so yet. This can be arranged at
https://mailman.kfki.hu/sympa/subscribe/mix/ or through the IBAME web site
https://ibame.org/ (right upper corner). We hope to increase the number of MIX
subscribers by this campaign substantially.
