Dear Colleagues,

as previously announced by José Fabris on MIX, Enver Murad passed away on 12 July 2019. Enver's work on iron (oxy)hydroxides and clay minerals over many years has established the use of Mössbauer spectroscopy for their study.

Now his colleagues Janice Bishop, Helge Stanjek, John Cashion and Jose Fabris have prepared tributes to Enver so that his contributions will be long remembered. Furthermore, they have collected Enver's list of publications.
