Dear Mohamed,

I am shocked and saddened by having learnt about Mamdouh's unexpected 
passing. I have not only lost a friend but also a cooperation partner. I 
will always remember his scientific engagement and kind personality. 
Please pass my deepest sympathy to Mamdouh's family.
