Dear Ion-Beam Researcher,

 

The International Committee of the Ion-Beam Modification of Materials (IBMM)
conference series established the IBMM Prize at its 2006 meeting to
recognize the achievements of outstanding early career researchers (up to 7
years since PhD) working in the ion-beam field. The prize consists of a
USD500 cash prize and an invitation to present an invited talk at the IBMM
conference.

 

We are currently seeking nominations for the 2012 Prize, and the attached
flier is provided to promote the award.  Details will also be posted on the
IBMM2012 Website.

 

The closing date for nominations is 1 June, with the decision finalised by 1
July.  We should be grateful if you would distribute the attached flier and
would welcome nominations from your group.  Note that the nominated
researcher should work in areas of relevance to the IBMM conference and be
able to attend the 2012 meeting in China.
