Milagros Colazo (Adam Mickiewicz University, Poland): Phase curves and phase 
coloring of asteroids from survey photometry

We present a unified study of asteroid phase curves and phase-dependent color 
variability using large-scale survey data and complementary modeling 
approaches. First, we derive phase curves for more than 300,000 asteroids 
from the ATLAS SSCAT-2 catalog and perform a statistical analysis of 
multi-apparition H,G1,G2 solutions, revealing wavelength-dependent 
differences in phase behavior across taxonomic classes. Second, we introduce 
an empirical correction that accounts for rotational and geometrical effects 
by normalizing sparse photometry to a pole-on configuration, enabling 
consistent phase-curve fitting for more than 25,000 asteroids with the 
H,G1,G2, H,G12, and HG12* models. Finally, we assess the detectability of 
phase coloring in current and future surveys through simulations based on 
meteorite spectra and survey filter responses, showing that while individual 
detections remain challenging, statistically significant population trends 
can be recovered. Together, these results prov
 ide a consistent framework for interpreting asteroid phase curves and phase 
coloring in the era of large photometric surveys.
