A Budapesti Neutron Centrum következő szemináriumát angol nyelven, hibrid 
formában szervezzük. Az előadás a BNC eddigi legnagyobb vállalkozásának, a 
neutronvezetők, a hideg neutronforrás és a tudományos berendezéspark 
modern elvek és technikai megoldások mentén történő teljes újjáépítésének, 
illetve újrarendezésének elkészült terveiről szól.

The relocation of the NEAT TOF spectrometer from Berlin to Budapest 
requires considerable rearrangement of the instruments in the cold neutron 
hall of the Budapest Research Reactor, as well as a reconstruction of its 
cold source and neutron guide system.

Given that 25 years have passed since the initial installation of the guides, 
new design ideas and improved manufacturing quality can improve performance of 
all the instruments.

In this talk we will discuss the proposed new floor plan, optimization 
workflow, compromises during the design and the expected gain factors in sample 
fluxes.

presentation will be about the completed plans of BNC's largest 
undertaking to date, namely a complete reconstruction and rearrangement 
the neutron guides, the cold neutron source and the scientific equipment 
park, along modern principles and technical solutions.
