Dear Colleagues and Students,
The Lectures on Modern Scientific Programming series will host this year’s
edition on November 25, 2025, at the HUN-REN Wigner Research Centre for
Physics, organized by the Wigner Scientific Computing Laboratory.
The Lectures on Modern Scientific Programming is an annual seminar series
designed for university students and researchers. It aims to provide an
overview of topics essential for those working in scientific simulations and
high-performance computing. The event features a blend of theoretical
presentations and hands-on sessions, offering participants an excellent
opportunity to put newly acquired theoretical knowledge into practice.
The 2025 edition will focus on Quantum Machine Learning and its applications
in physics and related disciplines. We warmly invite university students
interested in these areas to participate — attendance is free for students.
The patron of the lecture series:
Péter Lévai (HUN-REN Wigner RCP).
The invited presenters:
Bence Bakó (HUN-REN Wigner RCP)
Gregory Morse (Eötvö Loránd University)
