“Wetterich's equation for regularised QFTs and general probability measures”
címmel tartandó szemináriumára.
Kivonat:
In quantum field theory Wetterich's equation is obtained through a slightly
modified Legendre transform of Polchinski's equation. It formally satisfies
an infinite-dimensional partial differential equation with the classical
action as boundary condition. In a suitable regularisation scheme, the
equation and its boundary condition can be derived in a mathematically
rigorous manner. Wetterich's equation can naturally be extended to some class
of probability measures on locally convex spaces as well. I will discuss the
ideas and some persisting challenges in this general setting.
