New science results and the first public data release from the Euclid space 
telescope

ESA's Euclid space telescope will create the largest ever map of the cosmic 
web during its 6-year mission. As an important milestone, ESA and the Euclid 
Consortium now release 63 square degrees of optical and near-infrared imaging 
data, supported by dozens of scientific papers. The main topics include the 
discovery and study of strong gravitational lens systems, the exploration of 
galaxy clusters and their connections in the cosmic web, the characterisation 
of active galactic nuclei and quasars, studies on galaxy evolution and 
morphology, and the identification of numerous dwarf galaxies and transients. 
In this talk, I will provide a summary about this current Q1 data release and 
the first Euclid science results, and may also comment on other fresh results 
from the DESI and ACT cosmology surveys.
