Dear Colleagues and Students!

The Lectures on Modern Scientific Programing series will be organized the 7th 
time by the Wigner Scientific Computing Laboratory (former GPU Laboratory) 
from October 12-13, 2023 at the Wigner Research Centre for Physics.

An annualy organized seminar series for university students and researchers. 
These lectures review topics relevant to everyone working on scientific 
simulations or highperformance computing. The lectures will be the mixture of 
theoretical talks and hands-on sessions, which grants a perfect opportunity 
to adopt the collected theoretical knowledge.

2023 the lectures will focus on High Performance Computing, High-throughput 
Computing, Cloud Computing, and Large Scale Grid computation and its 
application on physics and other relevant fields. We also would like to 
invite those university students who are interested in these topics to 
participate, the participation is free for university students.

The patrons of the lecture series are Péter Lévai (WIGNER) and István Csabai 
(ELTE).
