2-year postdoctoral position on tensor network methods, TU Munich

A postdoctoral position is available with starting date 1.10.2022 (or 
1.1.2023 at the latest), in association with Professor Gero Friesecke, 
TUM Department of Mathematics, on theory and algorithms for correlated 
quantum systems in the context of tensor network methods. Of particular 
interest is the interplay between mathematical theory, physical aspects, 
and algorithm design. The position is embedded into a long-term research 
collaboration with Professor Ors Legeza who is a Hans Fischer Senior 
Fellow at TUM Institute for Advanced Study.

Successful applicants will hold or are about to complete a PhD in 
mathematics or physics. If you are interested and have prior expertise 
in either theoretical or computational aspects of tensor networks,
