Meeting ID: 961 6140 3733 Passcode: 569336My doctoral work is aimed at the
preparation and laser spectroscopic characterization of micron-sized
polymeric microparticles for different applications. First, I studied the
polymerization kinetics of diethylene glycol dimethacrylate (DEGDMA) monomer
in different solvents upon gamma irradiation with different doses. Then,
fluorescent monodisperse DEGDMA microparticles were synthesized through the
incorporation of fluorescein isothiocyanate isomer I (FITC) dye into the
polymer matrix. In the last part of my study, I have developed a method to
prepare substrates for surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) by attaching
gold nanoparticles to polymeric DEGDMA microparticles prepared by gamma
radiation-initiated polymerization. The performance of the proposed SERS
substrates was tested by the detection of DNA strands specific to the Giardia
lamblia parasite (the β-giardin gene). Minden érdeklődőt szívesen
látunk! - Everyone is welcome to attend.Róbert Juhászsem-admin AT szfki.hu
