Scientific projects conducted in the laboratory of quantum

computer simulators

The Quantum Informatics National Laboratory is the outcome of the efforts to form
a joined quantum computing program in Hungary. As a part of this program the
Laboratory of Quantum Computer Emulators was launched in the collaboration of the
Department of Physics of Complex Systems, the Department of Programming Languages
and Compilers of the Eötvös Loránd University and the Department for Computational Sciences
of Wigner Research Centre for Physics. In my talk I will present our research activities conducted
in this laboratory. I will cover our most significant scientific results achieved in projects related to
the compilation of quantum programs and the development of novel simulation algorithms for
photonic quantum computing.
