About the presenter
*Tom Sharp* is a Publisher in the Journals Development team at IOP Publishing. He manages three journals within the IOP Applied and Engineering portfolio;/JPhys Energy <http://comms.iop.org/c/1edQE0BNnbcswcgNZLxXEoDTs>, Progress in Energy <http://comms.iop.org/c/1edQEn5UXqAXw0SP4DuxrzMZB>/ and /Materials for Quantum Technology <http://comms.iop.org/c/1edQEJA2xFZsvPuQ9vr7eKW5K>/. He has worked at IOP for 5 years, starting out as an Associate Editor managing the peer-review process. His current role as Publisher involves working closely with our Editorial Boards to shape the scope and quality standards of our journals, as well as commissioning high-quality articles.
