In addition to our regular seminars, the *2021 Spring seminar series* of 
the Konkoly Observatory features exciting topics presented by leading 
scientists of their respective fields.

Our next speaker, *Conny Aerts* is a world-renowned pioneer of 
asteroseismology, a professor in the Institute of Astronomy at KU 
Leuven. In her talk, she will give an introduction to asteroseismology 
for a non-expert audience. She will also present some interesting 
results and an outlook for the future of this booming research field.
