In addition to our regular seminars, the *2021 Spring seminar series* of the Konkoly Observatory features exciting topics presented by leading scientists of their respective fields.
The next speaker, *Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell* discovered the first pulsars in 1967. She served as president of the Royal Astronomical Society and the Institute of Physics, and received the Special Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics in 2018. In her talk, she will describe the discovery of pulsars and discuss their impact on physics. There will also be time to ask questions about the role of women in science and other more general topics.
