In addition to our regular seminars, the *2021 Spring seminar series* of 
the Konkoly Observatory features exciting topics presented by leading 
scientists of their respective fields.

The next speaker, *Eric Feigelson* is one of the best-known experts of 
modern statistical applications in astronomy and will devote his talk to 
improved statistical practices in astronomical studies. He is a 
professor at Penn State University and the Statistics Editor of the 
American Astronomical Society Journals.
