The Wigner GPU-Lab of the Wigner Research Centre for Physics will again
organize the annual

GPU Day - The Future of Many-Core Computing in Science Conference

that will be the 7th in the series. This event is dedicated to bring together
researchers, students, developers from academics and industry to share their
results, experience and best practices in the following fields:

- Current status and near-future of many-core hardware and software
- Many-core computing in physics and other fields of science
- Medical applications of parallel technologies
- Machine Learning, neural networks, feature recognition
- Image processing, computer vision and reconstruction
- Industrial applications of many-core computing
- Mobile and embedded parallel computing
- Emerging, alternative accelerator platforms (like FPGAs)
- Development technologies (languages, compilers)

Each year invited speakers talk about the main developments of new hardware,
software, APIs and research directions. Contributed talks are welcome on the
link below.

The event is FREE to attend. More details are continuously being updated on
the web page:

Date: 22-23 June 2017
Location: Wigner Datacenter, Wigner Research Centre for Physics, Budapest
(Konkoly-Thege Miklós str. 29-33.)

About the Venue:
The Wigner Research Centre for Physics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences
is one of the largest research institutes of Hungary, working together with
international collaborations such as CERN, ESA, LIGO/VIRGO, GSI/FAIR, ESS.
Wigner is hosting the largest off-site datacenter for CERN providing analysis
of LHC data and much more. Wigner is committed to supporting research with IT
solutions and collaborating with partners to accelerate science and
development. A group of experts at the Wigner GPU Lab are dedicated toward
exploiting massively parallel technologies and helping others take advantage
of modern computing resources. The GPU Day is one of the events that wishes
to help users explore and navigate the broad landscape of computing
technologies and find the ones that are most suitable for their needs.
