 It concerns the conference MECO 42, that we are organising in Lyon in
February 2017.
 In particular we shall select several contributed abstracts for an oral,

Dear Colleague,

We are pleased to announce the *"42nd Conference of the Middle
European Cooperation in Statistical Physics" (MECO42)*.

This event will be held at *ENS Lyon (France), 8-10 February 2017*.

The conference is addressed to both theoreticians and
experimentalists working in the broad domains of Statistical Mechanics and
Condensed Matter Physics.

The 42nd meeting will focus mainly (but not exclusively) on:






*Disordered systemsNon-equilibrium phenomenaQuantum many body
systemsFrustrated systemsTopological phases of matterActive and soft
matter *

The scientific program will consist of invited lectures, oral presentations
and poster contributions. Oral presentations will be selected among
abstracts submitted before the *25th of November 2016*.
