> The study of epidemic processes on complex networks represents
> one of the cornerstones in modern network science. Capital in this
> field was the discovery of the effects of a complex, scale-free topology,
> given in terms of a degree distribution with a power-law (PL) form,
> in the position of the critical point of a epidemic transition in
networks.
> In this seminar, I will discuss recent advances in the understanding of
> generic epidemic models on PL networks with a quenched (not changing
