"Matrix model for the chiral phase transition"

Kivonat:

I develop an effective theory for the region near the phase
transition at nonzero temperature in QCD, in the "semi"
Quark-Gluon Plasma. The model marries a typical
linear sigma model with a matrix theory for the Polyakov loop.
We concentrate on results for the baryon susceptibilities
up to sixth order. We also discuss the possible role of
tetraquark fields in the chiral phase transition.
