Dear NSCs,

First of all a happy new year!

We are looking for interested teachers for our new project iStage 3 – 
Football in Science Teaching.

Therefore, we kindly ask you to forward this information to biology, 
chemistry and physics teachers in your country.

Those interested to join should fill in the attached application form 
and send it back by 20 January 2015.

iStage is proudly supported by SAP.

Project information:

*iStage 3 – Football in Science Teaching*

The iStage series will continue in 2015/2016! Football is fascinating 
and attracting to a lot of students. Also football offers the chance to 
cover a variety of interdisciplinary themes: from the game itself to the 
biological and health’ aspects of the players to the environmental 
issues when organising a big international event like the European 
Football Championship 2016. Approximately 20 teachers can take part.**

Schedule 2015-2016:

April 2015: First meeting of working groups.

April-November 2015: Participants develop topics (at home, contact via 
mail).

November 2015: Second meeting.

December-February 2016: Finalising teaching units

June 2016: Presentation of the publication.

Travel costs, accommodation and meals will be fully covered.
