[Workshop] Call for abstracts - International Workshop on Photon and fast
Ion induced Processes in Atoms, MOlecules and Nanostructures (PIPAMON),
Debrecen, Hungary, March 24-26, 2015

 

 

 

 

Dear Colleague,

 

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you to
participate in the international  workshop on "Photon and fast Ion induced
Processes in Atoms, MOlecules and Nanostructures" (PIPAMON), organized by
the Institute for Nuclear Research, Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA
ATOMKI) and the Extreme Light Infrastructure - Attosecond Pulse Source
(ELI-ALPS) and to be held in the Hotel Aquaticum, Debrecen, Hungary, between
March 24 and 26, 2015.

 

The PIPAMON workshop will focus on the fundamental photon and fast ion
induced processes taking place in free atoms, molecules and solid
nanostructures, as well as on related novel applications. The scientific
topics of  the workshop include photoionization induced by attosecond light
pulses, Free Electron Lasers and hard X-rays; observation of photoemission
using electron spectroscopy with high energy, angular and temporal
resolution; coherence and electronic correlation in photon and fast charged
particle induced processes; collective excitations by photons and charged
particles in nanostructured solids; as well as acceleration of charged
particles using lasers.

 

In addition to the Keynote and Invited talks reviewing the latest
developments in the fields mentioned, the scientific program of the PIPAMON
workshop will involve oral (15 min) and poster contributions on novel
results and concepts.
