Kivonat:

I will give a short introduction to the heavy-ion collision physics.
I will emphasize challenges and problems that emerge while using
perturbative QFT methods in the description of the collision.
Next I will give an introduction to AdS/CFT correspondence and
show how it helps to shed some new light on the system. Finally
I will present recent developments in the field and future goals.
