Abstract:

     Mr. Zdenek Bardon will give a short information about the company 
profile and development in the field of industrial automation and control 
systems (wide range of various activities in controlling technological 
processes etc.) and creation of an unique control system for the 
telescopes using the robust and proved components of industrial 
automation. Then goes some breath description of nowdays operating 
telescopes with pictures from the observatories.

Tea break

     Mr. Tomas Turek will make an on-line connection to a Czech 
observatory and will control a telescope from Konkoly Observatory. At the 
same time all functional screens and visualisation will be described and 
the basic information about the key components, controllers and functions 
will be held. Any of the participants of the seminar will have later a 
chance to move the telescope individually.     Lecturers hope that the 
telescope to control will be the 2 m telescope of the Ondrejov 
Observatory. Unfortunately the Observatory took the main mirror for 
aluminium coating and according to the planned schedule of observing it 
should be set back to position into the tube round the 27th May. So there 
is a possibility that the telescope will be in docking position on 28th. 
In this case it will shown all screens and fuctions of the 2-m telescope 
off-line and the attendance have the chance to control and move a smaller 
telescope in fully robotical observatory near city of Hradec Kralove.
