Dear Colleagues:

   As you have likely heard, GLAST had a very successful launch on 11 

June.  This was a wonderful moment, made possible by the creativity  
and effort of many scientists, engineers, technicians, and support  
people working together around the world.  You can find great pictures 

and video, along with other information, at the mission site

  and at links therein.  We're all very excited about the future!

    To keep you updated on the details of the early activities, I've  
also started a public blog you can find here:

    There will be frequent updates, along with links to the many  
activities of the instruments and other parts of the mission, so
