First Announcement

Dear Colleagues,

The 4th Conference on Elementary Processes in Atomic Systems (CEPAS) will be
held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, June 18-20, 2008.

The Conference is organized by the Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca,
Romania, in collaboration with the Institute of Nuclear Research of the
Hungarian Academy of Sciences (ATOMKI), Debrecen, Hungary.

As the chairman of the 4th CEPAS, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is
my pleasure to invite you to attend this conference. The CEPAS will focus on 
all
aspects of processes and phenomena stimulated by interactions of electrons,
positrons, ions, atoms, molecules, photons and other constituents of matter 
with
gaseous, liquid, and condensed matter at low and intermediate energy.
We intend to publish the invited and contributed papers presented at the
conference in the journal Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research 
B.

Submitted contributions will be considered mainly as posters. However, a few 
of
them will be selected also for oral presentation.
