Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics is inviting applications for
Visiting Professors in theoretical physics who are wishing to spend time
at Perimeter Institute while on sabbatical leave from their faculty
positions at home institutes.

Applications are now being accepted for Visiting Professors in
theoretical physics who are wishing to spend time at Perimeter Institute
while on sabbatical leave from their faculty positions at home
institutes.



These select Long Term Visitor (LTV) positions span the period of June
2007 to September 2008 in the areas of:



o String Theory

o Quantum Gravity

o Cosmology

o Particle Physics

o Quantum Information Theory

o Foundations of Quantum Theory



Perimeter Institute offers a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment
with maximum research freedom and opportunity to collaborate, take part
in workshops and conferences as well as enjoy the productive atmosphere
and amenities of the award winning facility.



Applications must be received by December 31, 2006. Information should
include:



* Details regarding the sabbatical leave arrangements with your
home institution

* Suggested time period of the visit to Perimeter Institute

* The nature of your desired visit

* Area of interest - String Theory, Quantum Gravity, Cosmology,
Particle Physics, Quantum Information Theory or Foundations of Quantum
Theory

* Any supporting documents such as a CV and a statement of
research interests

Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics is located in Waterloo,
Ontario, Canada, and is currently staffed with 61 resident researchers
including 10 Faculty and 8 Associate Members. There is also a complement
of 28 Postdoctoral Researchers and a very active Visitor Program
including 15 Long Term Visitors with expectations of hosting some 300
scientists throughout the academic year. Additional information about
