T. Fizinfó olvasók!

Egy kétéves groningeni posztdoktori állást szeretnék hirdetni (ld.
lent). További információ Erik van der Giessen-nél
http://mm03.phys.rug.nl/~giessen
vagy Groma Istvánnál
http://metal.elte.hu/aft.elte.hu/Munkatarsak/groma/groma_index.html
érhető el. Kérem, ha ismernek potenciális érdeklődőt, nekik is
továbbítsák a hirdetést.

Erikkel évek óta dolgozunk együtt és jó főnöknek tartom.

Üdvözlettel:
ifj. Csikor Ferenc

Post-doc to develop and implement a nonlocal crystal plasticity model
based on multiple-slip dislocation field theory (in short "Dislocation
dynamics and FEM")

Statistical-mechanics treatments of an ensemble of edge dislocations on
a single slip system in the past have enabled the formulation of a
nonlocal theory for single crystal plasticity under single slip. This
theory can describe the size-dependent response caused by strain
gradients with a minimum of adjustable parameters, as has been shown by
comparison with discrete dislocation simulations. Now that these
treatments are becoming available as dislocation field theories for
dislocations on multiple slip systems, the objective of this project is
to develop the associated multiple-slip crystal plasticity model and to
implement it in a finite element method. Comparisons with discrete
dislocation simulations will be carried out for validation.

This work ia part of the research programme of the EU-Marie Curie
Research and Training Network (RTN) http://www.sizedepen.net .
Participation in a RTN requires to undertake inner-european national
mobility. Candidates should come from a EU or Associate state but
cannot come from the Netherlands. More detailed information, including
the list of Associate states, is provided in the RTN-Handbook found on
http://www.cordis.lu/fp6/mobility.htm .
