Dear Prof. Denes Nagy,

we are writing you due to kind recommendation of Henryk Szymczak, with
whom we have a many-year fruitful cooperation.

Recently, a joint 2-year scintific program was established between
Academies of Science of Hungary and Ukraine. The competition of projects
was declared with the deadline April 30.

Our field of interest is interplay between magnetic and lattice structure.

Our recent measurements are concerned with structural study of
magnetostriction in superconductors due to interaction between magnetic
vortices and crystal lattice defects, and in perovskite manganites, due to
spin-reorientation transitions. We found oscillations of magnetostriction
in the mixed state of superconductivity in the peak-effect regime and
2-phase behavior of magnetic subsystem in low-doped manganites. These
results were obtaines for the first time and are perspective for studying;
deatiled atructural investigation is of significance.

We also start magnetostriction study in fulleren based materials. Our
institute has a wide range of cryogenic equipment for studying condensed
matter properties at low temperatures (www.ilt.kharkov.ua) .

Hope, you will be interested in performing cooperation with us

Looking forward to hearing from you
