Synchronization: from two oscillators to networks of oscillators

abstract:
Classical notion of synchronization is discussed. I review the
basic notion of chaotic oscillation and types of synchrony
observed between chaotic oscillators. Experimental and theoretical
analysis of chaos synchronization in nonlinear electrical circuits
is presented. I discuss generalized synchronization of chaos and
complexity of the synchronization manifold. Finally, a brief
overview of synchronization in networks is given.
