Workshopra. Minden magyarorszagi, plazmafizikaval foglalkozo kutatot szivesen
latunk.

                        First Announcement of the 
                        
                   First Hungarian Plasma Physics Workshop
                   
The aim of the workshop is to bring together Hungarian researchers working
in different plasma physics fields and to further intensify the
interaction and contacts between Hungarian researchers and their
international cooperators. Topics involve:

                 - Basic plasma physics
                 - Magnetic confinement fusion
                 - Inertial confinement fusion
                 - Astrophysical plasmas
                 - Low temperature plasmas and discharges
                 - Plasma applications


Everyone who wishes to contribute to the workshop with a 30-minute 
lecture in ANY field of plasma physics is cordially welcome. Potential
lecturers are encouraged to contact the scientific secretary with the
title and short abstract of their talk. The official language of the
workshop will be English.

The program will consist of two invited tutorial review talks on two
different fields of plasma physics and 30 minute (+10 minute
discussion) contributed talks. 

 Venue: Budapest, KFKI-Research Institute for Particle and Nuclear Phyics
 Date: 2001. 03. 09-10.
 Fee: No fee
 Deadlines: Preliminary registration - November 30.
            Final registration and submission of abstracts - January 31.
            
 A printed version of the submitted abstracts will be handled to all
 participants on Mar. 08. The lunch on the first day of the workshop is 
financed
 by the organizers.
