ACCELERATOR TESTS of SPACE ELECTRONICS
ABSTRACT: In the talk the versatile capabilities of the JYFL-accelerator
laboratory of the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, to use heavy ion and
proton beams for testing space electronics is expressed. The questions
like "why are COTS components used?", "What are SEE efects?", "What is
South Atlantic Anomaly?" and many other will be answered. Also, features
of the JYFL-accelerator, space irradiation facility and the results of the
evaluation test together with the future plans will be discussed
extensively.
