INVITATION
ICS Workshop on
"TRENDS AND APPLICATIONS OF COMBINATORIAL CHEMISTRY AND COMBINATORIAL
TECHNOLOGIES"

The International Centre for Science and High Technology (ICS) is an
autonomous institution within the legal framework of the United
Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), with
headquarters in Trieste, Italy.
The objective of the present ICS Workshop is to provide advanced
training to post-doctoral level persons engaged or interested in the
latest developments in combinatorial chemistry & combinatorial
technology. In this programme, the ICS-UNIDO's activities focus to
the diverse field of combinatorial science in order to strengthen the
links between academy and industry. In selecting the specific
subprogrammes and their related activities special consideration are
given to their relevance in relation to the scientific and
technological development of developing countries.
The training course is sponsored by ICS-UNIDO. There is no
registration fee. Travel and living expenses will be reimbursed
(based on the most economical fares and means of transportation) for
a limited number of participants selected by ICS-UNIDO. The total
number of ICS-UNIDO participants will be limited to 60. The ICS-UNIDO
participants will be selected by the Organizing Committee on the
basis of their qualifications, their potential contribution to the
meeting, and the benefit that they may draw from the meeting for
their future activities. Few slots are reserved for self-financed
participants.
Accomodation will be provided in double or triple rooms in the Hotel
AURA (inside the campus of the workshop venue: Methodology and
Information Centre for In-service Teacher Training of the Ministry of
Education) in Pilisborosjenô, a picturesque, small village near
Budapest.
Recommended date of arrival before 11 a.m. on October 14, 2001.
Recommended date of departure after 11 a.m. on October 19, 2001.

The deadline for application is September 15, 2001.
Acceptance of applications will be confirmed until September 20, 2001.
